David Glassman, M.S.

Program Mentor

David moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2024 from Orange County, California. Before pursuing his career in mental health, he spent approximately 15 years working in a variety of restaurants, including his favorite, the Blue Bayou at Disneyland.

Passionate about the mental health field, David has experience supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, helping them develop daily living skills, manage budgets, and learn practical skills such as using Word and Excel. He has also worked with teenagers facing oppositional defiance and substance use challenges, supporting them through activities such as hiking, paddleboarding, and equine therapy.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, a Medical Assisting diploma from Concorde Career College, and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. Returning to school to earn his master's degree was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of his life. Having overcome significant personal challenges, he brings resilience, compassion, and an appreciation for personal growth to his work.

At Echo Springs, David enjoys helping young adults discover all that life has to offer, from pursuing an education and developing responsibility and integrity to finding employment and becoming active members of their communities.

Outside of work, David is close with his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren. He loves spending time with his grandkids and enjoys daily walks and reading.
