Ready to talk about Echo Springs?
Parents, young adults, and referring professionals are welcome to call or email. You don't need to know which Echo location may be right, have everything figured out, or complete an application before reaching out. We'll listen, answer your questions, and help you explore whether Echo makes sense.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Here’s what happens after you reach out.

WE LISTEN
The first conversation is about getting to know the young adult: who they are, what they're good at, where they're getting stuck, what they've tried, and what they and their family hope for. We'll answer your questions and explain what Echo has to offer.

WE CONSIDER FIT
If Echo seems like a possibility, we'll gather additional information, such as records and previous evaluations, when helpful. We'll involve the appropriate clinical and program team members and include the young adult whenever possible. We consider their needs, what we can realistically provide, and the community they'd join.

WE PREPARE FOR ARRIVAL
Once an admission is confirmed, we coordinate with the young adult, family, referring professionals when applicable, and the receiving Echo team. We'll explain what to bring, where to go, whom to contact, and what to expect. The people welcoming the young adult will already know something about who they are.
If we don't believe Echo is the right fit, we'll be straightforward about that, too.

Part of admissions is helping you understand the differences between our programs and consider which environment and level of support may make the most sense.
Echo Idaho
COEUR D’ALENE
Longer-term residential support with a gradual progression into independent community living.
Echo Utah
OGDEN
An intentionally small program with daily support and opportunities for increasing independence.
Echo Portugal
PORTUGAL
A 90-day travel, wellness, and developmental experience in a small group.
Visits to Echo Idaho and Echo Utah can be arranged through admissions. We can also share information about upcoming Portugal groups and availability.
TUITION & PROGRAM COSTS
Clear information before you make a decision.
Tuition and enrollment costs vary by location. During admissions, we'll review current costs, what's included, and any anticipated additional expenses. Insurance and other possible funding sources depend on individual circumstances, and we're happy to discuss those questions directly.

Meet Chelsea Dickinson
Co-Owner, Director of Development & Admissions
Chelsea has worked with young adults and families for more than 20 years, much of that time helping families think through therapeutic, transitional, and young adult support. She believes good admissions work starts with listening carefully and being willing to ask direct questions.
For Chelsea, the focus is on finding the people, environment, and approach that fit the young adult.
