Educational Opportunities
With our help, students determine their best path for educational growth. Many continue their education even after they graduate from our program.

Options for students who have a high school diploma or equivalent
- College Coursework in general college studies or vocational studies at North Idaho College
- Degree completion at any of 4 colleges located in the Coeur d’Alene area (http://www.nic.edu)
Options for students who have not completed high school
- Complete High School through correspondence with their previous high school.
- School work is completed at Echo Springs and reviewed by previous high school to issue grades and diploma
- Complete High School through correspondence courses available from a variety of accredited programs nationwide such as Indiana University or Blueprint Education
- GED completion through coursework and coaching at the local Adult Basic Education Center
- Dual enrollment in both high school and college courses at North Idaho College
Major Travel
Alaska
This fully accredited college course culminates in a two-week trip to a homestead in the farthest corner of the Gates of the Arctic. It is required for all students in Phase I, and is a prerequisite to participate in the Europe class.
Europe
This class is a cultural and historical journey through Spain, Italy, France or England. (Destination varies each year.) Students apply to participate and are an integral part of the planning process.
