Our Students
Our students are looking for new direction. They’re 18-24 years old‚ and they’re not succeeding or fulfilling their potential. They often make unhealthy‚ unsafe decisions.
They all share similar traits: their lives have stalled and they don’t know how to move forward. Many know the right answers but lack the maturity and skills to take the next step.
- They’re doubtful of their abilities and talents
- They’re often stuck in self-destructive patterns of isolation
- They are fearful
- They are hungry for safety and success
- They are confused
- They are challenging
- They show evidence they could practice the skills and behaviors that lead to independence and a clearer identity
- They’re choosing to grow
- They’ve made a decision to make a change in their lives

“I’m completing my AS degree at North Idaho College and moving on to a four-year school. I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa in 2009‚ and work in management at Pita Pit.” ~ Becca, 2009
